flea market find

Hi I'm new to the forum and hand planes. I bought a smooth plane and the blade has a stamp that says Crown Made In The USA. It's about 9" long 2 1/4" wide and the blade is 1 3/4" wide. Its in good shape; needs to be cleaned and tuned up. It appears to be vintage. the wood handles are in good shape; they are just a little scratched up. I've had a hard time finding out about this crown company on google. Anybody have info about this plane or the company.
